Tina Turner, the legendary Queen of Rock 'n Roll, has passed away at the age of 83.

The news of her death was announced on her official Instagram account 

Turner's music enchanted millions of fans worldwide and served as an inspiration to many 

She was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2021 

Turner sold over 100 million records globally, with notable hits like "Proud Mary" and "Private Dancer." 

Her comeback single, "What's Love Got to Do With It," became her first and only No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart,

Throughout her career, Turner won a total of 12 Grammy Awards, including three Grammy Hall of Fame awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award 

She retired from music after completing her "Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour" in 2009
